Creative Painting Workshop at the MiloArt Studio

Whether you are a complete beginner or simply looking for a unique way to spend a few hours, this experience is designed to help you discover your own creativity in a relaxed, friendly and informal atmosphere.

Painting sessions for groups take place at the MiloArt studio in Gata, near Omiš and Split, in the space where painter and architect Milo Sakač creates his artworks.

No previous painting experience is required. The idea is not to organise a traditional art class, but to allow each participant to paint at their own pace, explore colours and techniques, and enjoy a creative experience together.

What to expect

Painting takes place at my studio in Gata.
Small groups of 6 to 10 adult participants.
All you need to bring is a smile and a good mood.
An introduction to different painting techniques: acrylic, watercolour, drawing and others.
A choice of technique, canvas or paper.
An individual creative approach – everyone paints their own subject.
My personal guidance and support throughout the creative process.
Painting in the studio or outdoors on the terrace surrounded by nature.
I paint alongside you, creating my own artwork.

While painting, we will enjoy a glass of wine, homemade rakija or a refreshing non-alcoholic drink, accompanied by good music and conversation. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and inspiring.

Smoking is possible, depending on the preferences and agreement of the group.

I usually prefer late-afternoon sessions after 6:00 pm, although morning sessions can also be arranged depending on the group’s preferences. I always try to adapt to the wishes and needs of my guests.

Painting for groups near Omiš and Split

The MiloArt studio is located in Gata, in the hinterland of Omiš and near Split. The creative workshop can therefore be an interesting experience for visitors staying in Omiš, Split or elsewhere in Central Dalmatia who would like to spend a few hours doing something different from the usual tourist activities.

The painting experience is intended for small groups of friends, families and other private groups who would like to experience the process of creating an artwork together in an authentic artist’s studio.

The programme can be adapted to the group and the occasion, and no previous painting experience is required.

Additional information

Languages: English, German, Hungarian and Slovenian.
Duration: approximately 2 hours (although creativity knows no time).
You take your finished artwork home with you.
Price from €35 per person for a group of six participants.
All materials, canvas, paints, brushes and refreshments are included in the price.

Customised programmes can be arranged on request, including different group sizes, workshop duration, professional canvases, additional drinks, snacks or other special requirements.

Every purchased artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity and an invoice.

If you are designing or furnishing your home, villa, office, hotel, restaurant or another interior, you can also receive assistance in choosing an artwork and format suitable for the particular space.

As both an architect and painter, Milo Sakač pays particular attention to the relationship between art and space. When choosing a painting, factors such as wall dimensions, proportions, light, materials and the character of the existing interior can all be considered.

Many of my collectors are young people furnishing their first home, which is why I try to keep the prices of my works accessible.

Payment in instalments is also possible, because I believe that art should bring joy rather than become a financial burden.

For guests travelling home, artworks can be professionally packed for transport. Larger works can be removed from their stretcher frames and safely packed in protective tubes suitable for air travel.
