Sales Gallery & Atelier
Original art gives a space a character that reproductions can rarely replace. A painting is more than a decorative element in an interior – it brings the artist’s personality, atmosphere and a story that, over time, becomes part of the space in which it lives.
Milo Sakač is a Croatian painter and architect who creates original contemporary artworks, primarily acrylic on canvas. The MiloArt gallery presents more than 150 original paintings in a variety of formats and dimensions. The works are available for purchase, whether as part of a personal art collection or as original art for private homes, offices, hotels, restaurants and other interiors.
The paintings can be viewed in the MiloArt online gallery and, by prior arrangement, at the ateliers in Gata near Omiš and Zagreb.
Original Paintings Available for Purchase
Every work presented in the MiloArt gallery is an original artwork by Milo Sakač.
A large part of his body of work consists of acrylic paintings on canvas in a variety of formats – from smaller works that fit naturally into more intimate spaces to large canvases that can become a defining element of an interior.
The works are organized into collections connected by a shared idea, visual language, color relationships or period of creation. This approach makes it possible to discover each individual work while also understanding the broader context in which it was created.
In the online gallery, visitors can explore collections and individual paintings and find information about their dimensions, technique and availability.
MiloArt Gallery of Contemporary Painting
The MiloArt online gallery brings together more than 150 works created throughout different periods of Milo Sakač’s artistic practice.
Rather than presenting paintings as isolated objects, the gallery brings them together in collections. Each collection forms a distinct body of work and reveals a different relationship between color, texture, composition and space.
Visitors can explore different collections, compare works and discover a painting that resonates with their personal sensibility or with the space for which it is intended.
Viewing the works online is only one way of discovering them. By prior arrangement, the paintings can also be viewed in person at the MiloArt ateliers.
Paintings for Collectors and Contemporary Art Lovers
Buying an original painting is different from buying a reproduction or a decorative object. An original is a unique work created physically in the artist’s atelier and bears the traces of the painting process itself.
Surface texture, layers of paint, brushwork and the material quality of a painting can only be partially conveyed through photography. This is why seeing a work in person can be especially valuable when choosing an artwork.
MiloArt is intended both for those who are already building their own art collection and for those considering the purchase of an original painting for the first time.
For additional information about a particular work, its availability or price, an inquiry can be sent directly through the gallery.
Original Art in Contemporary Interiors
The relationship between art and space is an important part of Milo Sakač’s creative approach. His experience as an architect naturally meets his painting practice through considerations of proportion, composition, color and the relationship between an artwork and the space around it.
Choosing a painting is therefore not simply a question of whether we like a particular work. Its size, relationship to the wall and furniture, the colors of the existing interior, light and the distance from which the painting will most often be viewed all play an important role.
A large painting can define an entire space, while a smaller work can create a more subtle visual accent. Several related works from the same collection can also be combined to create a larger composition.
Original paintings can become part of private homes and apartments, offices and commercial spaces, hotels, restaurants, villas and other contemporary interiors.
On the MiloArt website, selected works are also presented within interior settings, making it easier to visualize their relationship with the surrounding space.
